Good for: Light touch-ups and removing winter damage.
Summer (Use Care)
- Best time for removing dead limbs or shaping after the flush of spring growth.
- Avoid trimming during hot, dry spells.
Useful for: Visibility improvements, canopy thinning, or safety trims near homes and wires.
Fall (Least Ideal)
- Pruning stimulates new growth just as trees should be slowing down.
- Higher risk of fungal infections during the wetter season.
