Born & Raised in NE Ohio
A Local Doing Local Work
Wes grew up in Northeast Ohio and has spent his entire adult life working outside, at height, around heavy equipment. He lives in Geauga County with his family, and the trees he takes down are often for neighbors he already knows.
If you've seen a bucket truck fixing storm-damaged lines on your road, there's a good chance Wes was the guy up in it at some point during his 14 years as an electrical lineman.
The Lineman Years
14 Years of Earning the Right to Climb
Linework is not a trade you fake your way through. You climb poles in ice storms. You rig transformers that weigh more than a car. You work inches from live wire that would end you in a heartbeat. You plan every move twice because there is no "try again."
That's where Wes built the skill set that drives All Trees Considered today: comfort at height, precision rigging, hazard assessment, and calm under pressure. Tree work asks for all four — and so does the weather in Ohio.
It also taught him something most tree companies never learn: the job isn't done until the site is cleaner than you found it. Linemen don't leave neighborhoods trashed. Neither do we.
Why ATC
Why He Went Out on His Own
In 2022, Wes got tired of watching homeowners get quoted $4,000 for a removal that should cost $1,500 — because a big crew with a crane needed something to do that week. He'd seen too many lawns torn up, too many estimates padded, too many "sorry, we need to subcontract this one" phone calls.
So he built the opposite: a one-man operation where the owner climbs every tree, sets every rigging line, and signs every quote. No middle management. No markup for a crane that isn't needed. No phone tag with a dispatcher.
When another company tells you a tree "requires a crane," Wes can usually take it down with climbing and rigging alone — saving you thousands and leaving your lawn intact.

How I Run Every Job
Safety Is Not Optional
Every climb starts with a hazard walk. If conditions aren't right, the job waits. Period.
Honest Quotes
What I quote is what you pay. I don't pad jobs, invent hazards, or upsell services you don't need.

When He's Not in a Tree
Wes is a husband and a dad first. Most weekends you'll find him around the house with his family, fishing a local pond, or out working on the truck. He's a lifelong Cleveland sports fan — for better or worse — and he still keeps in touch with the guys he worked linework with for over a decade.
The short version: he's a regular Geauga County guy who happens to be exceptionally good at climbing trees. That's exactly the kind of person you want on your property.
