Huntsburg Township sits in the eastern stretch of Geauga County where State Route 322 cuts through rolling farmland and thick second-growth forest. The township center clusters around the intersection of Routes 322 and 528, but most of the land is rural acreage, five to twenty acre parcels where red oak, sugar maple, shagbark hickory, and white ash form dense woodlots between open fields.
